the restaurant was pleasant for lunch and dinner, i tried excellent dishes. stunning location and overall the staff was competent and attentive.
The bathroom was a little small, I didn't like it.

The location was nice, staff were attentive. I had a double room and it was airy with nice balcony, tea, as example. The service was very good during all my very nice stay. No complaints, I appreciated this hotel and would stay here again.

Things I wish I knew before I tried it
Staying here was a delight! The location near the beach is serene, but dining options are limited. The staff was accommodating. The breakfast was varied and delicious, although the restaurant can be slow at times. Gym facilities are basic but functional. Ideal for a relaxing getaway!

The hotel has great design and is very cozy, with spacious rooms and a good breakfast selection. There were issues like not having hot water when needed and some maintenance shortcomings. The staff was attentive, but the overall experience felt more like a 3-star rather than a 4-star hotel.

The Hotel Cottage is a clean, comfortable small hotel with a great view of the Rambla and the River Plate - South Atlantic river-ocean. The Hotel Cottage is located in the fashionable Carrasco residential neighborhood with many Embassy residences and is only a 15-minute drive from/to the architectural wonder of Carrasco International Airport. There is a small parking lot across the street for guest car parking. The staff are friendly, polite and attentive.
I couldn't figure out how to turn on a floor lamp by the desk. I should have asked for help.

Family with kids suitable for a comfy stay
The staff was genuinely nice and helpful! The buffet breakfast was fantastic, with sweet and savory options. This amazing view from the restaurant, I seemed like a king drinking my coffee while looking out at the water.
It wasn't cheap but we felt it was acceptable given all the positives.

The room was spacious and it overlooked the beach. It had a nice large balcony.
They said breakfast would be at 7:00 A.M. but was not fully served until 7:30. We had an airplane to catch and needed to eat early.

I had a lovely experience at Cottage Carrasco. the hotel was clean and situated in a beautiful building, conveniently located near the beach, transport routes, and shops and restaurants. the brand-new units were perfect, especially with the windows open.
